How do i fix my xbox 360?

i fuc*ing hate my xbox Shouldve gotten PS3. My xbox 360 wont read the disk really well and most of the times it wont read the disk i have to make my xbox 360 take a little rest before it starts but when it does 90% it wont read the disk correctly and few min later i says can not read disk or something like that. Can anyone help me? i dont want to pay for fixing it i want to fix it. i have xbox 360 slim. i tryed punching, it stepping, on trowing, it a little and trying opening it.
