Tv speakers? help me choose?

You can not just add a set of speakers on any tv today. They only have an optical audio output which has to be connected to a system that has a decoder to decode the digital signal. If you do not want to have speaker in the side or back, then your only choice would be a sound bar. Go to your nearest electronic retail store like Best Buy or Fry's Electronic and demo them with your own source of music. Let your own ears be the judge. Hope this will help you out.
